The State of Georgia Celebrates “Cheasequah Nation Day,”
Honoring Chief Red Wolf  Tribes Indigenous Legacy.

Atlanta, GA - February 26, 2025 - The State of Georgia has officially proclaimed and Declared
February 24th as “Cheasequah Nation Day,” a momentous occasion celebrated with
enthusiasm by local tribes and Indigenous communities. The declaration, presented at
the State Capitol Gold Dome on February 24th, 2025, recognizes the Antiquitous Status and  Cheasequah Nation's rich history, enduring contributions, and commitment to community service.
Family, friends, Senators,House Reps, business leaders, and local Indigenous and Native American tribes, including, State and Federally authenticated  Chiefs were all there to witness.

Indigenous and Georgian Grand Chief : Supreme Chief Blackhawk Thunderbird,
founder of the autonomous Mund Bareefan Clan, stood in solidarity in support of the
honor. 

“Cheasequah Nation Day,” celebrates the legacy of the Cheasequah Nation, founded in 2013,
by  Chief Red Wolf (Born, Brendon Cheon Williams).  The Goal and 
mission  is to establish an Indigenous, Tribal Embassy,  to promote education and foster
diplomatic relations. The nation takes pride in its diverse ancestry, encompassing the Phoenix Bloodline of "Cherokee Phoenix" in Cherokee is "ᏣᎳᎩ ᏧᎴᎯᏌᏅᎯ" (romanized as "Tsalagi Tsulehisanvhi"). 
Anikituvagi, Tsalaghi (Cherokee), Chata, (Choctaw), Muskogee, Washitaw, Gullah Geechee and
Phoenician Moors, with ancestral lands spanning across the Cherokee (Echota) Estate,
(GA, TN, SC, NC, AL, FL). This deep-rooted connection to the land positions the
Cheasequah Nation as invaluable consultants in Land Management and conservation
efforts.


The Cheasequah Nation, recognizing its
innate duty as stewards of the land, offers
expertise to the state of Georgia in
collaborative projects. Their generational
knowledge of ecosystems, wildlife patterns,
water sources, and culturally significant sites
can inform sustainable land use planning and
resource management. By working together,
the Cheasequah Nation and the state of
Georgia can foster a deep understanding of
Indigenous culture and knowledge, leading
to more informed and respectful land
stewardship practices.

The Cheasequah and their continued efforts to partner with Georgia, the Departments
of Commerce and the Interior, and federal agencies work to promote cultural tourism
with Indigenous tribes. This collaboration incorporates past successes with innovative
ideas for a substantial future, benefiting Indigenous communities, small businesses,
and all Georgians, allowing the Cheasequah Nation to revitalize their heritage and ensure
their traditions are preserved for future generations.

Chief Red Wolf’s vision has led to the
establishment of impactful institutions such
as IHEA Ministries, and We Educate
University, both dedicated to providing
supportive educational environments.

The Cheasequah Nation’s hard work and
dedication to community service, offering
programs for youth, elders, veterans, and
people with disabilities, including the
initiative, “The Pharmacy,” which promotes
urban farming and self-sufficiency.

This proclaimed Day honors Chief Red Wolf's leadership, and the Cheasequah Nation’s
dedication to preserving its heritage while empowering its people. The nation's values,
rooted in equality, justice, and service, resonate with the principles of Love. Truth, Peace 
Freedom, Justice, and Equity. The Phoenix, which is The nation's symbol, and family clan name,   happens to
appear on the seal of Atlanta, Georgia, which embodies the spirit of resilience and rebirth, reflecting the Cheasequah People's enduring commitment to RISE UP LIKE THE PHOENIX!

The recognition of “Cheasequah Nation Day” signifies a powerful step towards
fostering collaboration and understanding among Indigenous communities in Georgia
and beyond.
